Australia vs Pakistan

Post by C-Bert on Fri Jan 22, 2010 1:31 pm

After the latest 3-0 test series whitewash over Pakistan, I can see some real improvement in the Australian side. After losing the likes of Steve Waugh, Shane Warne and Glen McGrath, the side really needed some time to stabilise and for the new players to adjust to international cricket. The ashes loss in England last year showed that the team had lost a lot of its former potency, and a far cry from Steve Waugh's 'invincibles' who dominated international test cricket through the early noughties (world record 16 consecutive wins).
However, Ricky Ponting's side, after dominating India and Pakistan seem to have some spark back in them. Look out world!
