cumberland sausage

Post by BOON RAWD BREWERY CO LTD on Sun Jun 28, 2009 7:06 pm

Another great sausage!!

650 Grams of pure 100% pork/beef
175 Grams Hard back pork fat (beef fat is too lean)
10 Rashers Smoked bacon, cut into strips
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Mace
25 Gram White breadcrumbs, soaked in 8 tbsp hot water (1 oz)
Sausage skins

*Again these will be hand made next Sunday and then flash frozen in 1 kilo bags if you want to place an order. This sausage is available in both pork and beef (I would say that the beef is a better choice for the Cumberland)

Tell me the prize and I will probably be ordering 2-3 KG from you... If you could freeze them into smaller packs...

There's no sausage in town worthy of even skinning the sausages in the Britannia tavern!!

I've tasted the others and not a patch on these phallic delights. Dindins

I would disagree... The cumberlains that they sell at Macro are quite good, not as good as the ones from Brittania Tavern but still, they are worthy of the skin in some ways...
