Sabai Cup Coffee Shop

Post by Its Raining on Thu Apr 07, 2011 11:37 pm

Went to this coffee shop / restaurant today and was impressed.

I think it's called Sabai Cup (at least, thats what was written on the menus).
I sat in a very relaxed location watching some very large Koi Carps swimming about in 1 of the many water features they have there.

Wifi was available FOC and the service was excellent..... as too were the prices!

We had 2 very nice and good size steaks (1 BBQ and 1 pepper + mushroom sauce) that came with fries, salad and some veg, 1 large caramel cappuccino and a pot of green tea. All very good quality stuff. The price...... 220Baht.

We then had a walk around their Aquarium shop; some good stuff in there if you are into keeping fish.

They got a good selection of tea, coffee, breakfasts, steaks, and Thai food and the prices were good. Nice place to go and chill out for an hour or 4.

Well worth a look if you are in the area of the train station.

Sounds good ..... location of the train station is a little vague though, north, south, next to ....? Might help.

B220 sounds good value indeed.

Surely you know where the train station is Admin! Cheezy

In the hope the place now doesn't fill up with noisy farangs.... here goes.

I don't know the name of the road or area, but it's fairly straight forward.

With the train station directly in front of you from Pak Nakhon Road, take a right at the junction outside the station. Follow that road down to the little roundabout at the end and take the first exit (in other words turn left as its basically a T junction).
Follow that road through some housing estates until just before the road takes a sharp left then sharp right (if you get to another roundabout you've gone too far).
Sabai Cup is on your right just before the sharp left.

The map of the town that I uploaded doesn't have enough of that road to show its location.

The steak was good stuff and a good size and thickness too.
I was able to easily cut through the steak using the edge of my fork - steak knife not needed..... it was good.
Only downside if you can not read Thai is that only part of the menu is translated. The page with the steaks and stuff on was all in Thai.
Drinks and ice cream pages were translated.
